How much does your service cost?

There is no pre-determined answer to this question. The cost of our service depends on several things: what type of lights you would like to see on your home or business, the amount of lights in linear feet you’d like to hang, and if there are any special needs or special difficulties with your particular job. Generally, our prices range from as little as $300 to as high as several thousand dollars for large residential or commercial displays. Our minimum rates are $300 up, and $75 down.

How do you price your projects?

When you contact us, we will come out to your home or place of business and consult with you on what type of display you desire and provide you with an estimate.  As a general rule, the bulk of our pricing is based on the linear foot for installations on buildings and quantity of string lights needed for trees. Tree height, volume, and accessibility also effects pricing.  We work within any budget as our success is based on our service-oriented flexibility.

Do you take the lights down at the end of the season?

YES! Taking down your lights is part of our service, and is included in the quote we provide for you before we start work. We begin taking lights down on request after January 2nd.

Is your work guaranteed?

100%. Our success depends on your satisfaction, and we’ll make changes if you desire them. We are interested in building long-lasting customer relationships, and will gladly provide references per your request. Your lights may malfunction for a variety of reasons, including weather and other unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, our professional staff will return to troubleshoot the problem quickly and efficiently.

Do you sell me the lights, lease them to me, or hang lights I already own?

We supply our own high quality, reliable, commercial grade products. A standard home requiring 300 feet of lights will have up to 3 timers, 300 clips, and up to 75 feet of extension cords.

Do you guarantee your products?

YES! Our entire business plan revolves around the idea that we want to keep you as our client season after season, and to keep you 100% satisfied. Installation is guaranteed until takedown. If a bulb burns out or a string falls out of place call us and we will have a crew there as quickly as possible to solve the problem. We guarantee our commercial grade LED C9 lights and LED mini lights for 3 years if we install and take down the lights each season! We believe so highly in these light systems that we will fix or replace any problems that you encounter with these lights 3 years from the purchase date. For us to offer this warranty, we require that we take down your lights each year to ensure that they are properly handled. If you decide to leave your lights up year round we guarantee our lights for one year. After that period there is a minimum $100 service fee for repairs.

Why should I use your service instead of someone else’s?

West Side Lighting is the only business in this area that exclusively specializes in exterior holiday, event, and cafe lighting. Other businesses in the Roaring Fork Valley might install holiday lights, but this is a secondary service offered in their off season. We are the Roaring Fork Valley’s experts in exterior holiday lighting.
